Meet the Experts

Tom is the founder of the Fantasy Injury Team. He has been passionately playing fantasy football since he was 7 years old. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Tom graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science in 2014 and worked as a personal trainer for two years while earning his M.S. in Exercise and Sports Physiology at West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2016.

Next, he moved to Atlanta, GA, for physical therapy, earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mercer University in 2019. Over the past three years, Tom completed a physical therapy residency in orthopedics and passed his specialty examination to become a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He followed that up by enrolling in a two-year fellowship training in manual therapy which will conclude on July 1st, 2022.

Tom works with a variety of patients with orthopedic conditions, including athletes from middle school to professional, of all sports, including football.

Sam first started playing fantasy football in 2012 during his freshman year of college. Sam received his B.S. in Kinesiology from UMass Amherst in 2016. He then graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2019.

After gaining a year of experience treating patients with orthopedic injuries, he decided to continue his education by completing a 13-month sports residency program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). During his residency at CHOA, Sam gained experience treating youth patients with sports and orthopedic injuries in the clinic as well as on the sidelines during game coverage.

He also participated in research with blood flow restriction training for patients recovering from ACL reconstruction. Sam enjoys working with athletes in all sports, but particularly enjoys working with athletes as they return to sport from ACL reconstruction.

There's nothing better (or worse) than fantasy football season! Fantasy football has given Joe some of the best and worst days of his life, but he'll always come back every year to play and compete for the ultimate championship prize.

He coaches basketball and softball, loves playing golf, and enjoys arguing about why he is right in fantasy football. Joe is a huge Yankees and Giants fan as well.
